Haas Effect – To Make a Sound Bigger or Stereo

The Haas Effect is a simple delay trick often overlooked in the music studio.

It can thicken up a distinct sound or increase the stereo image of a distinct sound.

It’s easy to do with a Simple Delay plug-in.

  • For thicking up the sound, put the delay to less than or equal to 30 ms.
  • For stereo increase, put the delay to less than or equal to 30 ms and pan the delay sound to the right or left.
